Ditch the Excuses

There’s always one thing you can find if you need it, an excuse.

Excuses are always available when you need them, but they will never do anything good for you.

Your excuses will keep you stuck, prevent you from growing, and steal your dreams from you if you continue to use them.

Life is going to get hard, bad things are going to happen, and you’re going to be tempted to reach for an excuse.

What’s some of the excuses you’ve been using lately?

I’m no different than you, I’ve used plenty excuses over the years, and they kept me stuck in my trauma.

It’s time to stop making excuses and start owning your choices and behaviors.

Stay aware today of any excuses you’re tempted to use and catch yourself.

The first step is becoming aware of them.

Once you catch yourself, figure out what you really need to do and do it.

Take one step in the right direction, choose the difficult path, the path that’s going to get you the growth you desire.

It’s not going to be comfortable, but little by little when you swap the excuses for the thing you’re supposed to do, you’re going to feel good about it and start building confidence.

Remember, excuses feel good in the moment, but they are stealing your dreams from you.

Be honest with yourself and take one step in the right direction.
