You belong here and you have a purpose.

I you are one in over eight billion people on this earth; you have a purpose.

Don’t ever forget this when you lose hope.

Healing from your trauma is possible. I’m living proof that it’s possible.

I didn’t think I would ever be able to heal from the trauma caused by sexual abuse.

I thought it would be too much to overcome. It’s not.

However, the guilt and shame will keep you from going forward.

They will keep you stuck in survival mode.

They are your link to the past.

They are the chains that keep you living in the past and you cannot heal if you’re living in the past.

Learning to forgive yourself will allow you to break free from the past, start healing, and rebuild your identity.

You must start having compassion for yourself.

You didn’t do anything wrong.

It wasn’t your fault, and you shouldn’t carry the shame and guilt.

You must have compassion and forgiveness for yourself in order to heal.

Start paying attention to your self-talk.

When it’s negative and you catch it, change it.

You can do this one step at a time.

Stay positive and take action!
