Mid-Week Motivation: My Daily Pledge
Survivor to Thriver Coaching, LLC
Every day, I try to start the morning with gratitude and journaling. The first thing I journal each morning is a pledge to myself for the day. It’s not the same every day, but it’s a pep talk to myself for how I want the day to go and what’s important.
There’s no rule for this pledge, it’s a reminder to myself to carry into the day.
You can start your day out like this as well. I highly recommend it. It sets the tone for the day. You can even start out with an affirmation that you say to yourself every morning. Whatever works best for you.
Morning of 10/28/25
My day is going to be filled with opportunities and blessings.
No matter how I feel, today is a gift and I’m going to make the most of it.
There’s so much happening behind the scenes right now.
I don’t have to see it all to trust that things are moving in the right direction.
I’m on the right path.
Awareness is key today.
Focus on what truly matters, your priorities, your peace, your growth.
Take a deep breath when things feel heavy.
Relax when you need to.
Self-compassion always, never condemnation.
You’re not going to quit on yourself.
You might not have all the answers right now, and that’s okay.
Keep going, and the answers will come.
You may have a bad moment today.
You might fall into a funk or get caught in your thoughts.
That’s okay too.
A bad moment doesn’t mean a bad day.
Pick your head up, take a breath, and keep moving forward.
Opportunity awaits.
You’ve got this.
Stay positive and take action!
