My Journal Entries

I do a lot of writing every day.

I thought I would try something new this week and share some of my journal entries from different days.

I talk a lot about journaling and wanted to show that I in fact journal a lot.

I hope this helps.

Journal Entry From 3/6/25

It’s funny, some days we’re going to feel like we’re on top of our game, and other days we’re going to feel like we’re at ground zero.

That’s just how life goes, and it will continue to go that way.

Today I feel more like I’m at ground zero than having it all together.

It’s okay, it’s going to happen, but we must not fall prey to believing it’s true.

It’s not true, it’s our feelings and we must acknowledge it and use self-talk to keep ourselves in the game.

We must stay in the game and keep moving forward regardless of how we feel.

I don’t want to say our feelings will lie to us, but we cannot go with our feelings.

We are going to feel scared and doubt ourselves plenty of times, but that doesn’t mean we listen to it and give in to it otherwise we’ll never reach our goals.

Acknowledge the feeling, ask if it’s helping us get to where we want to go or be the person we want to become, then slowly release it and take action.

Blessed to be able to show up today and put in the work again.

I’m continuing to grow and make progress.

Things are happening for sure, and I must keep going and do what I need to do every day.

Don’t compare yourself to anyone else Mark.

It’s only going to hurt you in the end.

Your journey is different from anyone else’s journey.

You cannot compare your journey to anyone else’s journey.

All you can do is keep showing up and putting in the work.

You must keep showing up on social media and continue to build your brand and promote your ideas.

It’s happening and it’s going to take time, but when it hits, it’s going to hit.

It’s going to hit all at once and you’re going to know it.

It’s going to be big.

Be ready for it, it’s coming.

Look at how far you’ve come, Mark.

Only 10 months ago you started.

You didn’t know what you were doing or how to start a business.

In this time, you’ve started a newsletter, grew to almost 1,000 followers, and posted over 35,000 times.

You’ve come a long way.

A lot has happened in 10 months, and you shouldn’t overlook this at all.

Journal Entry from 3/25/25

It's so crazy how we can become comfortable with being angry, unhappy, and miserable.

I did this for so long, that I believe I was addicted to these emotions.

It was familiar to me, and it made me feel safe.

I didn’t want to feel happy or positive emotions because it threw everything out of alignment for me.

It felt very foreign to me and when you’re in a state of trauma, the last thing you want is the unfamiliar.

You may laugh at this and say that it’s bullshit and it comes down to making the decision to change.

I don’t disagree with that.

It’s up to us to make the decision to change and get out of this state.

However, it takes a lot to break free from it and establish a new identity.

It’s not as simple as deciding to change and then you’re on the right path.

You get your whole world fighting back against you when you decide you want to change.

It’s going to be a battle. It’s going to be a battle every day.

You must be prepared for this battle and expect it to rock you.

It’s going to be fierce and it’s going to take everything you’ve got to keep showing up.

Stay positive and take action!
