Saturday Self-Study

Growth Mindset

Alright, it’s Saturday and you know what that means, it means it’s time to sit down and answer the three questions I’m about to share with you below about a growth mindset.

Developing a growth mindset will change your life.

For many, many years, I had a fixed mindset.

I believed I was as far as I was going to go in life and couldn’t do anything about it.

I let my trauma from sexual abuse make me believe I was never going to be able to change.

This was false and I lie I believed because of my trauma.

The truth is, we all have the ability to continue to learn and grow.

We all have the ability to do much, much more than we think we can do.

It all starts with embracing a growth mindset.

A belief that if we show up and put in the work, we can learn and do anything.

This mindset has changed my life and allowed me to heal from my trauma.

Alright, here’s the three questions for this week:

1) How do I typically react to challenges or setbacks?

2) What negative beliefs do I have about my abilities, and how can I challenge them?

3) What steps can I take today to push my limits and stretch my abilities?

Alright, take the time to answer these questions.

You may sit down and have the urge to get up when you can’t come up with an answer in the first few minutes but fight that urge and stick with it.

You’ll learn some important things about yourself that will help you grow.

Stay positive and take action!
